Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

This Data Processing Agreement governs the processing of Personal Data by WebBeaverPro in connection with the Services, in accordance with applicable data protection law including the Data Protection Act and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation.

1. Purpose

This DPA governs the processing of Personal Data by WebBeaverPro in connection with the Services, in accordance with:

  • Data Protection Act
  • General Data Protection Regulation (where applicable)

2. Roles of the Parties

  • Customer (Client) = Data Controller
  • WebBeaverPro = Data Processor

WebBeaverPro shall process Personal Data only on documented instructions from the Customer.

3. Categories of Data

WebBeaverPro may process:

  • Names, email addresses, and phone numbers
  • Customer and end-user data submitted to hosted websites
  • IP addresses and usage data
  • Payment and transaction data (processed via third parties)

4. Nature and Purpose of Processing

  • Website hosting and management
  • Storage and display of user-generated content
  • Platform analytics and system security

5. Processor Obligations

WebBeaverPro shall:

  • Process data only in accordance with Customer instructions
  • Ensure confidentiality of all authorized personnel
  • Implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures
  • Assist the Customer with data subject rights requests
  • Assist with compliance obligations, including data protection impact assessments and breach notifications

6. Subprocessors

WebBeaverPro may engage subprocessors to support the Service.

  • Customers provide general authorization for subprocessors
  • WebBeaverPro shall ensure subprocessors are bound by equivalent data protection obligations
  • A list of subprocessors will be made available upon request or published publicly

7. International Data Transfers

Where Personal Data is transferred outside Jamaica, WebBeaverPro shall implement appropriate safeguards, including contractual protections and secure infrastructure practices.

This policy outlines WebBeaverPro's procedures for identifying, responding to, and notifying affected parties of personal data breaches.
